BIOGRAPHY

BORN:
Manchester, Connecticut – February 8, 1956.

EDUCATION:

Stephen Hodecker began his study of watercolor at 17 and continued his education at The University of New Hampshire where he studied drawing and printmaking from 1974-1977.
Then attending The Laguna School of Art, in Laguna Beach California, he learned etching and lithography and later, figure drawing in Florence Italy in 1980-81. In 1983 he returned to The University of New Hampshire where he fully rounded out his art education with sculpture and drawing courses. In 1988-89 he took photography courses at Plymouth State College.

Stephen Hodecker lives and works as a painter, sculptor and photographer in Meredith, New Hampshire. His work is in private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
